3v3 Basketball bridges the gap between Individual Skills and Traditional 5v5 Basketball. Athletes will continue developing passing, dribbling, shooting, spacing, and teamwork while playing in smaller-sided games with fewer players on the court. With fewer players and a smaller playing area, athletes have more opportunities to handle the ball, make decisions, and build confidence in game situations. This format also provides a great competitive option for athletes who enjoy team basketball but may no longer be comfortable with the pace and full-court demands of traditional 5v5 play. 3v3 Basketball is a great fit for athletes who are ready for team competition in a more manageable game environment.Please provide a reliable email during registration, as all scheduling and competition information will be communicated via email.
This registration includes weekly practice, local scrimmages, and camps with local colleges. Athletes new to Pierce County Parks will be provided with a basketball jersey. Returning athletes will use last year's jersey. Athletes are responsible for all other athletic apparel (shorts, socks, and sneakers must be worn.)
