Competitive Basketball is designed for athletes with advanced basketball skills who are ready for a faster-paced and more competitive environment. Practices include high-intensity drills, full-court scrimmages, offensive and defensive strategy, and conditioning. Athletes are expected to have a strong understanding of the game, communicate with teammates, and consistently compete with great effort. This program prepares athletes for competitive-level tournaments and higher-level competition.All athletes will be evaluated and placed into a program level that properly fits their skill set (Individual Skills, Team Skills, Traditional, or Competitive).
Please provide a reliable email during registration, as all scheduling and competition information will be communicated via email.
This registration includes weekly practice, local scrimmages, and camps with local colleges. Athletes new to Pierce County Parks will be provided with a basketball jersey. Returning athletes will use last year's jersey. Athletes are responsible for all other athletic apparel (shorts, socks, and sneakers must be worn.)
