About This Activity
Description
Traditional 5v5 Basketball gives athletes the opportunity to practice and compete in a full team setting. Practices focus on passing, shooting, defense, teamwork, and game strategy while helping athletes build confidence on the court. Players will learn offensive and defensive concepts, improve communication with teammates, and continue developing their understanding of the game. This program is a great fit for athletes who are ready for structured team play and regular game competition.All athletes will be evaluated and placed into a program level that properly fits their skill set (Individual Skills, Team Skills, Traditional, or Competitive).
Please provide a reliable email during registration, as all scheduling and competition information will be communicated via email.
This registration includes weekly practice, local scrimmages, and camps with local colleges. Athletes new to Pierce County Parks will be provided with a basketball jersey. Returning athletes will use last year's jersey. Athletes are responsible for all other athletic apparel (shorts, socks, and sneakers must be worn.)
