About This Activity
Youth on Broadway Students will learn and apply practical performing techniques to audition, rehearse, and build their confidence on stage. This will range from preparing a 16-bar song cut, to composing a resumé, building vocal stamina, choreography, building confidence in solo work, and singing with a group ensemble. This course will culminate in a final presentation to showcase newly acquired skills in a performance themed “Youth on Broadway”. Our performance will feature songs, dances, and scene work from popular and contemporary musicals performed on Broadway.
