About This Activity
Description
This music class introduces students to the essential building blocks of rhythm, melody, and musical expression while helping them grow as confident musicians. Students will learn how to count beats, read basic rhythms, understand tempo, and perform patterns using a variety of instruments and exercises. As the course progresses, they will explore more advanced rhythm skills such as syncopation, subdivisions, and playing in different time signatures, all supported by structured practice and hands-on activities. Through group playing, listening exercises, and creative projects, students will develop strong timing, teamwork, and musical awareness. By the end of the class, learners will be able to apply their rhythm knowledge in real musical situations, play along with songs, and express themselves confidently through music.
