Back by popular demand, teaching artist and MSU Art Professor Lorelei d'Andriole will guide campers in creating their very own video games! Using Scratch, a beginner-friendly coding platform from MIT, students will learn the basics of 2D animation and coding while exploring game design in the REACH Media Center. The skills campers develop can be used to keep building their own games at home with this free, web-based software. At the end of the week, campers will have the opportunity to showcase their creations in a fun presentation, where parents and friends are invited to join the celebration! Full and Partial Scholarship options are available! Scholarship item will appear during checkout if you complete the scholarship section of registration and are eligible.
