About This Activity
REACH Neighborhood Camps offers a week of free art camp activities to children ages 4-15 who attend or live in the Lansing School District! Students can sign up for a single day or a full week. On Thursday, REACH Teaching Artist Emma Selby will guide campers in creating colorful sculptures. Students will design and build their own funky shapes while exploring creativity, movement, and playful sculpture making. Students are encouraged to sign up for both Thursday and Friday sessions to be able to paint their sculpture on Friday. Pre-registration is required. Sessions have a limit of 20 participants. CHILDREN UNDER 7 MUST ATTEND WITH AN ADULT. IF REGISTERING A CHILD UNDER 7, PLEASE ALSO REGISTER THE ADULT WHO WILL ATTEND. This program is FREE thanks to a grant from the Arts Council of Greater Lansing. While grant & donor support help to make programs like this one possible, contributions are always welcome.
