About This Activity
Sculpting offers plenty of new ways to explore art making, and a variety of new materials. Teaching artist, Emma Roeder will introduce basic sculpting techniques such as using armatures, exploring negative and positive space, slot construction, modeling using soft materials, and creating kinetic art. Students will work with paper mache, wire, found objects, cardboard, wood and more to create art that moves, towers, twists and bends, and brings creatures and characters off the page and into their hands! Full and Partial Scholarship options are available. Scholarship item will appear during checkout if you complete the scholarship section of registration, are eligible, and if remaining scholarships are still available.
