Sew, Create, and Showcase! This one-of-a-kind two-week sewing camp for students ages 10–15 is co-taught by REACH founder Alice Brinkman and teaching artist Sheila Moore. In week one, campers will build a solid foundation in both hand and machine sewing, learning essential techniques needed to use a sewing machine and to create garments. In week two, they’ll put their new skills to work on a creative fashion upcycle project, transforming pre-loved materials into original, wearable designs. Campers will leave with not only new sewing skills and confidence but also the chance to show off their unique creations at the Old Town Scrapfest Fashion Show—a fun celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and personal style! Full and Partial Scholarship options are available! Scholarship item will appear during checkout if you complete the scholarship section of registration and are eligible.
