About This Activity
PREREQUISITE: Participants MUST HAVE TAKEN a youth sewing machine introduction class OR demonstrated ability to use sewing machine. We invite participants to our creative Upcycled Fashion camp, for fun sewing activities and projects. They'll have the opportunity to upcycle old clothes—like denim or sneakers—into personalized projects, transforming T-shirts, crocs, and more into unique skirts, vests, or tote bags! Campers will be introduced to fabric painting, embellishment, and patchwork techniques. Students in this camp may have a chance to show their pieces in Old Town's festival, Scrapfest during the Upcycle fashion show! Full and Partial Scholarship options are available! Scholarship item will appear during checkout if you complete the scholarship section of registration and are eligible. Proof of income is due within a week of registration date.
