About This Activity
Youth Sew Fun builds upon the machine sewing skills acquired in Youth Intro to Sewing Machine. In this four-week course, students will advance their sewing techniques and take the exciting leap to complete a more involved sewing project. While we will continue to hone our sewing machine skills, focus will be on learning additional sewing techniques and working to complete an individual project piece. If you have a working sewing machine at home, you are encouraged to bring it to use in class. If not, we have sewing machines for you to use. REACH’s Intro to Sewing Machine class is a prerequisite for this class. If your child has not taken this class but already knows how to use the sewing machine, please contact REACH to evaluate if this class is the best fit for your child. Students who can do the following will get the most out of this class: Full and Partial Scholarship options are available. Scholarship item will appear during checkout if you complete the scholarship section of registration, are eligible, and if remaining scholarships are still available.
