About This Activity
Character Creation is perfect for young artists who love to draw and want to expand their skills. This class will help students learn how to bring their ideas to life through original characters, comics, and visual storytelling. Join teaching artist Emma Roeder in this character-focused drawing class. Explore how to draw faces, expressions, people, animals, and even imaginative monsters and creatures. Along the way, students will learn how line, shape, and color work together to create unique characters. Through guided practice, students will build confidence in their drawing abilities while developing the skills they need to tell stories with their art. Full and Partial Scholarship options are available.
