About This Activity
Let your inner storyteller shine in this four-week class dedicated to comics! Join teaching artist Kaye Weatherly in exploring the fundamentals of comics, such as character design, paneling, speech bubbles and more. This class will cover a variety of specific skills that will get kids motivated to learn more about sequential art, including how to order comic panels, setting the tone and mood of your story, and figuring out the best onomatopoeia for the scene. Full and Partial Scholarship options are available. Scholarship item will appear during checkout if you complete the scholarship section of registration, are eligible, and if remaining scholarships are still available.
