About This Activity
This hands-on workshop is a great place to explore the art of wood burning. Teaching artist Taylor Cervantes will teach the skills needed to confidently use a woodburning tool in a safe and creative environment. We’ll cover how to properly use and control your tool, change and care for the different metal tips, clean and maintain your equipment, and troubleshoot common mistakes. We will start by practicing on scrap wood pieces and end by creating an original set of coasters to take home and enjoy! PLEASE NOTE: This class uses hot tools. Cost of the workshop includes all supplies, as well as a woodburning tool students keep after the class.
