About This Activity
Join artist and instructor Rebecca Butler for this eight-week course exploring watercolor techniques on rice paper. Students will begin by learning the fundamentals of negative space painting. The class will then introduce watercolor batik, a process inspired by traditional fabric batik, using watercolor in place of dye and rice paper instead of fabric. This course is perfect for all skill levels, offering a unique and creative painting experience. Participants will receive their own watercolor kit to take home. RETURNING students from 2025 Winter, Spring and/or Summer term can receive a $19 dollar discount if you already received a watercolor kit! Reach out to receive discount code.
