About This Activity
PREREQUISITE: Students must have taken a sewing intro class or already know how to use a machine. In this four-week course, students will advance their sewing techniques and take the exciting leap to complete a more involved sewing project. While we will continue to hone our sewing machine skills, focus will be on learning additional sewing techniques and working to complete an individual project piece. This Fall, teaching artist Emma Roeder will be walking students through creating a applique tote bag. Come practice your craft while creating a one of a kind bag to show off your personality! If you have a working sewing machine at home, you are encouraged to bring it to use in class. If not, we have sewing machines for you to use. Full and Partial Scholarship options are available. Scholarship item will appear during checkout if you complete the scholarship section of registration, are eligible, and if remaining scholarships are still available.
