Ball Control Camp is focused on mastering the fundamental skills that keep the ball in play and allow a team to run an offense effectively. In volleyball, “ball control” refers to a player’s ability to consistently pass, set, and control the ball with accuracy, touch, and consistency — especially on first contact. This camp prioritizes precision, technique, and decision-making. Players will train Serve receive & passing accuracy; Defensive digging & first contact control; Setting consistency & hand technique; Out-of-system play & smart decision-making; Communication and court awareness. Camp coaches will consist of KU VB Coaching Staff, Student-Athletes, and local coaches. All coaches will undergo a screening process that includes a background check and video training. 8:45a- Doors open for check-in (Horejsi Lobby) 9:30a- Morning session begins 12:00p- Lunch Break (campers bring own lunch) 1:00p- Afternoon session begins 3:30p- Camp concludes in Horejsi
