COST $250 EARLY BIRD $230 ENROLL BY 4/1/2024 AGES 7-16 ATTENTION ALL CHEFS AND PARENTS THIS CAMP WILL BE HELD IN LECLAIRE IOWA 127 S Cody Rd, Le Claire, IA 52753 DAY 1 AM: SOUTHERN US Welcome to the first day of our culinary adventure! Our young chefs will start with crucial kitchen skills including safety, knife handling, and food safety. We will then take a trip down to the Deep South, where they'll learn how to make delicious refrigerator pickles. Our chefs will make shrimp boil packets, followed by a sweet and creamy traditional grape salad. Yum! DAY 2 AM: SOUTHWEST Get ready for some spicy flavors as we head down to the southwest region of the United States. Our young chefs will love creating baked tacos that are sure to be a hit with everyone. And for dessert, we'll be making a delectable Chocolate Tres Leches cake along with fresh fruit salsa. YUM!!! DAY 3 AM: NORTHEAST It's time for our culinary journey to head up north to the northeast region. We'll be sampling some of the Italian-American cuisine that is popular in this part of the country. Our chefs will be preparing some classic dishes such as baked ziti and summer tomato bruschetta, along with a sweet mini-berry tiramisu trifle for dessert. Get ready to taste the flavors of Italy right here at our summer camp! DAY 4 AM: KCC "CHOPPED INSPIRED CLASS" It's time for our young chefs to put all their skills and knowledge to the test in our "Chopped Inspired Class". Working together as a team, they will create an appetizing entrée and delectable dessert to present to our instructors. And don't forget, there will be culinary prizes awarded on the last day of camp as well! Get ready to showcase your creativity and skills in this exciting culinary challenge. So let's chop, cook, and taste our way through the summer!
