About This Activity
In order to comply with the Virginia Forward Guidelines, Camp Koda will be an all-encompassing HORSE Camp where all activities are barn, farm and horse related. We call it “ A Day in the life of a Horse” and learn about the horse’s living environment, the needs, how their bodies and minds function, how to adjust my behavior and demeanor to cause the desired reaction on the horse’s part and so much more. Please send campers to camp in their riding gear which includes: long pants, long socks, gloves to hold the reins, a helmet and boots with at least a 1/2 inch . If your camper does not own a riding helmet, Camp Koda will provide one at no extra cost. Boots can be rented for the week of camp and may be added to your registration in the Session Options section at checkout.
