About This Activity
Description
This program will build upon more intricate rhythms and combinations. Adult tap dance for fitness is a great way to boost mental and physical fitness. Tap dance uses the sound of the tap shoes hitting the floor as a percussive instrument. Tap dance sharpens reflexes and improves memory skills and coordination. Tap dancing is a great way to develop musicality, timing and balance. Benefits include improving balance, strength, cognitive health and energy. Supplies needed: tap shoes. Intermediate to advanced.
No street shoes allowed in the dance studio.
Wear comfortable clothes, tap shoes are required.
