Registration will close on Sunday, March 7, 2027 at 11:59 PM. Are you passionate about the outdoors and ready to grow as a leader? Join us as we build the next generation of outdoor leaders through engaging leadership development and outdoor skills workshops. Join us for our March Outdoor Leadership Club meeting at Camp Palos as we explore the skills needed to safely build, manage, and extinguish campfires. Participants will learn essential fire safety practices, proper fire-building techniques, cookout preparation methods, and responsible cleanup procedures that help protect people and the environment. We will put these skills into action by preparing a delicious snack in a Dutch Oven, learning how to safely use and care for this classic outdoor cooking tool. This is a drop off event. This program is designed for participation without an adult chaperone. A snack is provided as part of this event. A patch is included for youth participants registered before Sunday, March 7, 2027. This event will take place outside across uneven and occasional rugged terrain including gravel, dirt, and/or grass. Financial Assistance may be available for this program.
