About This Activity
Lemont Day Camp is an all-girl led camp. Older Girl Scouts (grade 7th thru college) run the individual units. The campers are taught outdoor skills (camp progression), Girl Scout songs, crafts and how to believe in themselves. 4th - 6th grade girls are welcome to spend the night on Wednesday -weather permitting- and sleep outside in a tent (If you would like the option to stay late or overnight, please sign up for the stay late/overnight registration option of this program instead). We want every girl who is interested in our camp to be able to attend. Financial assistance is available through the Council (This form must be filled out to request financial assistance: https://www.girlscoutsgcnwi.org/en/get-involved/join/for-families/financial-assistance.html).
