About This Activity
This is an introductory ballet course for your little dancer, designed to develop foundational skills applicable even outside of the dance studio; like rhythm, coordination, flexibility, strength, body control, balance, and spatial awareness. Students will learn basic ballet terminology, identify major body parts, and master the five positions of the feet and arms. The class covers essential movements such as plié, élevé, relevé, tendu, sauté, échappé, chassé, retiré, chaîné, and rond de jambe, along with an introduction to stage directions. No prior experience required. We will have a mini dance showcase at the end of this enrichment session. Total Classes - 15 THIS CLASS MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 4 STUDENTS IN ORDER TO OCCUR. IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT REFUNDS We regret that we cannot refund registration fees once paid. In the case of class changes or absences, family vacations, or illnesses, private lessons will have makeup lessons as long as the instructor has been notified according to our Missed Lesson Policy.
