Calling all curious little gardeners! In our Young Botanist enrichment session, preschoolers will dig into the fascinating world of plants through hands-on exploration and fun-filled activities. Children will learn how plants grow by planting seeds, observing sprouts, and exploring soil, roots, stems, and leaves up close. With tools sized just right for little hands, our budding botanists will engage in nature-themed crafts, sensory play, and simple experiments that encourage wonder and discovery. Whether we’re decorating flower pots, watering seedlings, or learning about the colors and smells of different flowers, this session helps preschoolers connect with nature while nurturing responsibility and curiosity—all in a fun, age-appropriate way! Please note that PS Enrichment programming will *not* occur during the week of June 30 - Friday, July 4. Thank you for supporting the Enrichment programs at FCDS and we look forward to seeing you all soon!
