About This Activity
Level 2 class begins at the ballet barre, developing muscle memory and flexibility. We move to going across the floor practicing turns and leaps then to the center for choreography, building connections between steps and music. Next up is tap, further incorporating rhythm and sound into dance steps. Tap is fun, plus gives the students easy-to-hear evidence of their improvement. We finish each class with jazz, working on basic techniques with isolations and combinations across the floor. Level 1 students will perform several pieces in the recital - a tap, a ballet, and a jazz dance. The recital this year will be on May 4, 2024, in our school auditorium. The $50 recital fee includes a costume for the student to take home and keep. If you have any questions, please email Kari Anderson at karianderson40@icloud.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT REFUNDS, & VIRTUAL LEARNING We regret that we cannot refund registration fees once paid. In the case of class changes or absences, family vacations, or illnesses, private lessons will have makeup lessons as long as the instructor has been notified according to our Missed Lesson Policy.
