About This Activity
This is an introductory ballet course for your little mover, designed to develop foundational skills applicable even outside of the dance studio; like rhythm, coordination, flexibility, body control, and spatial awareness. Students will learn basic ballet terminology, identify major body parts, and master the five positions of the feet and arms. The class covers essential movements such as plié, élevé, relevé, tendu, piqué, dégagé, sauté, échappé, and chassé, along with an introduction to stage directions. No prior experience required. We will have a mini dance showcase at the end of this enrichment session. Total Classes - 14 THIS CLASS MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 4 STUDENTS IN ORDER TO OCCUR. In the case of class changes or absences, family vacations, or illnesses, private lessons will have makeup lessons as long as the instructor has been notified according to our Missed Lesson Policy.
