About This Activity
The VEX GO camp is a half-day, week-long camp for grades 3-5. Participants will explore STEM concepts, including the fundamentals of robotics and engineering, in a fun, hands-on way. Working in teams, participants will use the VEX GO platform to design, build, test, and refine their way through real-world engineering challenges. Participants will gain experience with block-based coding. By the end of camp, participants will 1) develop foundational STEM and coding skills, 2) apply the engineering design process to build, code, and test engineering ideas using VEX GO, and 3) demonstrate STEM dispositions of perseverance, collaboration, and critical thinking.
