About This Activity
In this hands-on enrichment experience, students will explore the beauty of the outdoors through both observation and art. Each session invites children to slow down, look closely at nature, and capture what they see through drawing. From leaves and flowers to insects, trees, and landscapes, students will use a variety of drawing tools and techniques to express their connection to the natural world. This enrichment encourages creativity, mindfulness, and a deeper appreciation for the environment around us. Whether sketching around our FCDS pond or studying a bugs texture up close, children will be drawn to nature—one line at a time. Total Sessions - 6 We will need at least 3 children to hold this session. IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT REFUNDS, & VIRTUAL LEARNING. We regret that we cannot refund registration fees once paid. Makeup lessons for group classes, will not be available. Should FCDS transition to remote virtual learning, the school will assess it's After School Enrichment programs to determine if they can be offered virtually. If a program cannot transition to a virtual platform, refunds will be issued accordingly. If a session continues virtually, then no refunds nor partial refunds will be processed in the event of this transition if a participant wishes not to continue to finish the session virtually.
