About This Activity

•Grade levels indicated are for students entering and exiting that grade level. We suggest registering for the lower category to provide more future options. • Full-day classes run 8:30 to 4:30 with a half-hour grace period for drop-off starting at 8:00 and pick-up until 5:00 p.m. at no extra charge. •Mornings: 8:30 to 12:00. Afternoon: 1:00 to 4:30. Please pick up between 12:00 and 12:15 PM for morning classes and by 5:00 for afternoons. • Standard drop-off begins at 8:00 AM (except for Mondays when you can drop starting at 7:45 AM at no extra charge). For $5 per 15 minutes per child per day, you can arrange for an early drop-off starting at 7:30 or late pickup until 5:30. •Supervised lunch break: 12:00 to 1:00, Please send a non-refrigerated, sack lunch or insulated bag if your child is staying for the day. • Students will have breaks during their class sessions. We sell snacks and drinks on site (most things are $1 to $2), but you may send your own. Please send money or food since they will want something to eat when most other students are eating. • Please put your child's full name on any clothing or belongings you send. We are happy to contact you about lost items. •Over-the-counter or prescription medications can be placed in a zip lock bag along with any instructions and your child's name and given to the check-in staff. You also may provide your child with medications to self-administer at your discretion. • Helpful information can be found in class descriptions. For example, you should send a flash drive for computer classes, and students in shop classes classes should wear closed-toed shoes and bring a tie to pull back long hair. No flip flops or sliders ever, please! •Students of all ages in certain classes will use power tools such as drill presses, band saws and scroll saws with training and with supervision. Signing the liability release waiver acknowledges the inherent risks in hands-on, project based learning using equipment and tools.
