About This Activity
This workshop is a fun introduction to “the painterly print” monoprint. We will paint on Lexan sheets from a spring inspired still life—fresh flowers and light airy colors—and build layers of transparencies. These will be transformed as they go through the press which adds spontaneous magic. We will use half sheets of Rives BFK (11” x 15”) which effectively translates soft transitions, high contrast, and delicate lines.
