This partial semester class will introduce students to printmaking by using recycled cartons as plates. By cutting shape, incising lines, and experimenting with layering, students can mimic other printmaking techniques like drypoint and aquatint in a simple but high quality manner. Tetra-pak cartons serve as an excellent introduction to making multiples, series, and variables of prints. All experience levels are welcome. The printmaking studio utilizes non-toxic materials; all students are asked to review the 2025-26 printmaking studio guidelines (provided upon registration) ahead of their first class in the space.
