About This Activity
Filling a big sketchbook can be intimidating. Make your own tiny treasure to bring everywhere and you will fill it quickly. Students will learn the beautiful Four Needle-Coptic Stitch which looks like a braid across the spine of the book. This strong and decorative binding requires no glue. We will attach sturdy and flexible leather covers to make a portable fit-in-the-hand sketchbook of 3” x 4.” Materials will be provided and pre-cut to size so you can focus on learning the challenging stitch step-by-step.
