The Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program serves to bridge rising 7th through 9th graders from campers to camp counselors at Munroe Center for the Arts. CITs will gain valuable experience, centered around leadership, communication, team building, and behavior monitoring skills. While immersed in the arts, and engaged with younger students, CITs serve as positive role models. They will learn classroom management techniques and assist both instructors and counselors during a variety of fun, interactive activities. As in the past, a main tenet of the CIT program centers around awareness, acceptance and inclusion with curriculum and activities designed to foster understanding and mindfulness.
