About This Activity
Description
This session is all about audition prep, voice, drama, and theater movement. Stay warm inside the community center while you sing songs and work on scenes from the coldest musicals on the Broadway Stage! In this class, we will work on vocal and acting skills, as well as theater movement and techniques, all while learning the music and scenes from winter musicals and shows, such as Frozen, Anastasia, Annie, and more!This six week session ends with a showcase performance for family and friends on Saturday, November 8 at 11:00am.
Each week students will learn the music, choreography and scene work for the mini-musical along with learning vocal care, theater games to develop acting skills and basic theater movement.
Students will learn beginning acting, singing and movement skills by putting together a mini-musical to perform on the last day of class for family and friends.
