About This Activity
Description
This program is designed to introduce your soon to be 1st Grader to the sport of basketball. Each week players will spend 30 minutes on skill work and drills. The remaining 30 minutes will be spent playing games of 3v3 Half Court Basketball. Players will learn fundamental skills, rules of the game and how to be a member of a team. This program will feature age-appropriate activities, rules and equipment to maximize skill development. Grade for 2026 – 2027 school year.
Wednesday's, 1 hour per week, for 5 weeks, June 10, 17, 24, July 1, and 8 at Lux Middle School. (July 8 will be at Copple Family YMCA/Moore Middle School) Space limited to 50 players per session. T-shirt is included in fee.
Early registration deadline is on April 28
Fee increases $10. Middle registration deadline is on May 19.
Fee increases $25 during late registration starting May 20.
