Design, build and program robots using the most advanced and newest LEGO® robotics technology—the powerful MINDSTORMS®EV3. Work as a team to complete real-world engineering and computer science challenges as you build and command robots that walk, talk, think and do anything you can imagine. With your ideas and the latest LEGO® operating system and sensors, there are no limits to what you can do. Level 1—Builder: Entry level, limited or no experience with programming. Objectives are basic programming and robot movement. Level 2—Explorer: Completed at least one class at Level 1 and/or experience through another program. Objectives are sensors, loops and switches. On Monday, June 15, please arrive at 8:00 AM for an orientation meeting before the Japanese students' arrival. Mark your calendars for Thursday, June 18, for bowling and fun at Sun Valley Lanes (321 Victory Lane) provided by our friends from Senshu Matsudo University Junior High School. Bring a sack lunch to eat at Lux before heading to the bowling alley at 12:30 PM. Bus transportation will be provided. Students must wear socks in order to bowl. Please plan to pick up your student at 3:00 PM at Sun Valley Lanes.
