About This Activity
Sit-ups, planks and pliés, oh my! We will do these things and more as we explore the fun and energetic world of exercise and nutrition. Throughout this week at camp, we will be exploring different types of exercise from dance and yoga to cardio and strength training to calming and mindfulness techniques. We will also have fun learning about awesome places around the globe where you can go on amazing mountain hikes, snorkel with sea turtles and bike over landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge. Please bring a yoga mat/towel, water bottle and possibly a sweat towel for wiping away those drips! Taught by Stella Friesen, Scott Middle School Teacher
