Calling all future lifeguards! LARPD Aquatics is excited to offer the Star Guard Elite Junior Lifeguard program. This class offers an introduction to basic aquatic lifesaving and first aid for minors seeking to learn more about becoming a Lifeguard. The program provides guidance, challenges, and activities to participants between the ages of 11 to 14 who are interested in furthering their experience in lifeguarding. Interested participants are not required to have any background in basic lifesaving or first aid, however, participants are encouraged to be comfortable in the water and have basic swim skills. Participants who complete the academy are invited to volunteer throughout the summer season. A Jr. Lifeguard T-Shirt is included for participants. Class will be held at the Robert Livermore Aquatic Center from 1pm to 4pm from June 1st to 4th. Participants should bring their bathing suits, towels, sunscreen, water and a snack if they desire.Age Category
