SUMMER NATURE CAMP
Step outside, make friends, hike through open spaces, and breathe in the fresh air while learning about the natural world around us. Through age-appropriate programs and activities, campers will experience Livermore's hidden gem, Sycamore Grove Open Space Park, with games, crafting, outdoor adventures, and community connections. Each week will feature a different nature theme, accompanied by new activities and adventures. Ages: 5 - 12Monday - Friday: 9am - 3pm8/3-8/7: Wild Ways of the World Week*Come back down to Earth! Learn how and why this big blue floating rock we are on is spinning round and round. Earthquakes, volcanoes, and geology, oh my! We will explore the systems of the Earth, where water goes, how rocks form, extreme weather, and more!
*Explorers and Mountain Lions will experience a late night at camp from 3pm-9pm on Thursday, August 6th. They will play games, enjoy dinner cooked over a fire, watch a ranger program, eat s’mores, sit by the campfire and sing songs. Twigs (9:15am-12:15pm) and Tadpoles (9am-3pm) will attend camp during regular times on Thursday, 8/6.
