Using engaging texts, they practice text features, main idea, comparing sources, vocabulary, and analyzing an author’s purpose. Hands-on projects keep learning exciting- students create fact cards, mini books, compare-contrast paragraphs, and extended projects on California topics of their choice. Collaboration and discussion help deepen understanding while strengthening communication skills.
