10 sessions x 1 Hour Monday -Dec 8, 15 | Jan 5, 12, 26 | Feb 2, 9, 23 | March 2, 9 In this program, students explore California’s land, people, nature, and innovations while building strong informational reading and writing skills. Using engaging texts, they practice text features, main idea, comparing sources, vocabulary, and analyzing an author’s purpose. Hands-on projects keep learning exciting- students create fact cards, mini books, compare-contrast paragraphs, and extended projects on California topics of their choice. Collaboration and discussion help deepen understanding while strengthening communication skills.
