About This Activity
Description
LARPD will once again be hosting the Youth Triathlon to encourage fitness, fun, and confidence in a less traditional sports setting. Participants will be competing in a swim, bike, and run race against others in their age group. Distances for each portion will be determined by group. Participants will be separated by age groups prior to the event which will then also determine event start times. Please look for an email prior to the event for this information.This event will take place at the Robert Livermore Community Park and Aquatics Complex. All participants will receive a t-shirt, race bib, snacks, and medal for their participation in the event.
Distances Based on Age:6-7 yearsSwim - 50 ydRun - 0.5 milesBike - 1 mile (4 laps)
8-10 yearsSwim - 100 ydRun - 0.5 milesBike - 1.5 mile (6 laps)
11-13 yearsSwim - 200 ydRun - 1 mileBike - 2 mile (8 laps)
Please arrive 15 minutes before your start time
