Description
We now offer a summer camp extension program allowing parents/guardians a full day of child care while still giving their child the specialized fun of our half day Arts, STEM, or Sports Camps. Additional forms and paperwork will be required to be submitted to complete camp registration. Forms will be emailed to parents or can be picked up at our the Parks and Rec office or Hutchins Street Square. Registration for Camp Care will allow children to receive up to 6 hours of child care at our Safari Day Camp before OR after their half day specialty or sports summer camp. To qualify for Camp Care enrollment, children must be registered for one of our Specialty Summer Camps or Half Day Camps. City staff will insure that the child is escorted between the two camps.
Half day morning camps will be required to drop off the child at the designated camp start time. City staff will pick the child up at the end of the morning camp and parents may pick up by 6pm from Safari day camp.
For Half Day afternoon camps that begin at 1pm, the child may be dropped off at Safari Day Camp as early as 7am. City staff will escort the child to the afternoon camp. The child must be picked up at the end of the specialty camp at 5pm.
You will be emailed the day camp registration packet, all forms must be completed and turned in no later than the Thursday before the week of camp in order fo ryour camp care registration to be valid. Registration Packets may also be picked up at our office.
