Dancers will learn ballet & jazz choreography from some of the greatest Broadway shows in musical theater history. If you love watching the dancing in famous musicals this class is for you. Class curriculum is based on ballet/lyrical technique layered with Broadway style jazz movement and includes a proper warm-up, stretches, and combinations. Emphasis will also be placed on learning performance skills and telling a story through dance. A great place for advanced dancers to brush up on technique and combination retention while having a great time in a relaxed and positive atmosphere! This class participates in two routines in the Recital. It is suggested that this class is taken in addition to your Ensemble/Performance Ensemble lessons. Cash, check (payable to LPRD) and credit cards are accepted, and a 5-month automatic payment plan is available with a credit or debit card.Recital Tickets, Recital Recording & Costume Fees are NOT included in the class rate. Recital tickets will be available for purchase in the Spring. Recital Recording Production Fee: $45 per family.
**Please note: all credit/debit card payments will incur a 3% transaction fee, regardless of payment plan.
Last day to withdraw from classes and receive a prorated refund for the remaining classes of the year minus a $25 withdrawal fee is Friday October 27, 2023. If you do not officially withdraw from classes with Parks and Recreation by this date, you will be charged in full for your class and costume fees.
