Pointed toes and Pirouettes! This class is everything ballet! This is a great class for dancers that wish to focus on advancing their personal technique and really take things to the next level in ballet. This class is individually tailored to each dancers level providing individual challenges to help dancers excel. This class will have a strict dress code of leotards any style and color, convertible tights any color, ballet skirts and pink leather ballet shoes (no drawstring style) - NO TIES. All returning pointe dancers wear Pointe Shoes. New dancers start in ballet shoes. This class participates in one routine in the Recital. Dancers will have the opportunity to perform and showcase their progress.December 4th-8th, March 11th-14th, April 29th - May 2nd - Every dancer receives a Years of Dance Trophy.NOTE: May 6th -9th Last Week of Lessons – NOT a Watch Week.PHOTO DAY: 4/6/24DRESS REHEARSAL: 5/10/24RECITAL: 5/11/24
Cash, check (payable to LPRD) and credit cards are accepted, and a 5-month automatic payment plan is available with a credit or debit card.Recital Tickets, Recital Recording & Costume Fees are NOT included in the class rate. Recital tickets will be available for purchase in the Spring. Recital Recording Production Fee: $45 per family.
**Please note: all credit/debit card payments will incur a 3% transaction fee, regardless of payment plan.
Last day to withdraw from classes and receive a prorated refund for the remaining classes of the year minus a $25 withdrawal fee is Friday October 27, 2023. If you do not officially withdraw from classes with Parks and Recreation by this date, you will be charged in full for your class and costume fees.
