Description
Shotokan Karate-Do (SKIF System) is a traditional Japanese martial art. Students will be trained in the basic exercises involving punching, blocking, kicking, stances, forms, sparring, and self-defense. For the beginning student, this is a fun, structured introduction to the art of Karate. Great for development of self-esteem, balance, physical fitness, and a basic understanding of Japanese Karate-Do. A white karate uniform is required and can be ordered through your instructor Jim Shea, a Longmeadow resident who has been teaching karate for over 47 years. No class 7/24
