Description
This is a FREE introductory class to POUND fitness workouts. POUND is a full-body workout that combines cardio, drumming, and Pilates-inspired moves, using lightweight, weighted drumsticks called "ripstix". Participants use the ripstix to pound on the floor or in the air to the rhythm of the music, which strengthens muscles and improves coordination. The workout is designed to be a high-energy, stress-relieving "cardio-jam session" that can be modified for various fitness levels. This class will be held at the Broughton Recreation Center - 801 S Martin Luther King Jr Blvd
