About This Activity
Students will explore plants and animals that live and grow in the garden. We will create various themed gardens including a pizza garden and butterfly garden. Students will learn about planting, harvesting, and worm composting and will be able to cook and eat some of their own produce. We will play games, explore nature, and dig in the dirt! Raising and releasing butterflies is on the agenda, as is studying and releasing ladybugs. We also plan to make bird feeders, terrariums, and other garden crafts.
