About This Activity
Students will explore plants and animals that live and grow in the garden. We will create various themed gardens, including a fairy garden, a pizza garden, and a butterfly garden. Students will learn about planting, harvesting, and worm composting, and will be able to cook and eat some of their own produce. We will play games, explore nature, and dig in the dirt! We plan to make bird feeders, terrariums, and other garden crafts. Raising and releasing butterflies and studying and releasing ladybugs are on the agenda. This year, we will also incubate, hatch, and care for baby chicks! Enrollment Limit: None Club Director: Sarah Haun
