About This Activity
What is the GMG? Our Chess Tutors Annual Grand Match Gala brings together many students from the many various schools we serve together to celebrate their hard work that they have put forth all year long. It's also an cullminating event that both acknowledges our scholars all while providing them an opportunity to test and measure their developing skills in full-fledged tournament play. Students are given the chance to participate in a healthy competition as a team against multiple schools and districts that fosters camaraderie, good sportsmanship and an opportunity to gain valuable life experiences in a safe and intellectually stimulating environment. All participants within our program are encouraged to take advantage of this exciting Red Carpet “Battle of the Minds” (round robin) chess culmination. 👇👇👇👇👇 IMPORTANT NOTE FOR PARENTS REGISTERING SIBLINGS: The system will not provide two separate places to place your children’s names nor their grades. Simply place the older siblings name in the space provided first (along with the oldest siblinngs grade) and on the same line that request the name of child also list the younger sibling name and grade. Again, under the space for grade list ONLY the older siblings grade. For example: Child first name: John 4th Grade and Jane 1st Grade Last Name: Doe Child Grade: 4th Then complete the rest of the application as normal.
