LA Kings Ball Hockey!
Get ready to Play Like a King! The YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles, in partnership with the LA Kings, is bringing Ball Hockey leagues to communities across Los Angeles.
LA Kings Ball Hockey is a fast paced, non skate version of hockey designed to introduce young people to the game in a fun, welcoming environment. Open to boys and girls of all skill levels, the program focuses on skill development, teamwork, confidence, sportsmanship, and having fun. The YMCA's leagues are co-ed and designed for players of all experience levels.
Families are responsible for providing their child with a mouth guard for all practices and games. Equipment, such as sticks, balls, etc., are provided by the Y!
Program Details:
- Practices are held once per week at your local YMCA. Practice day and time will be announced by the participating YMCA center.
- Games are typically played on Saturdays (some YMCA locations may have games on Friday evenings).
- First Practice: Week of November 2
- Season Ends: December 19
- Last Day to Register: October 13.

Youth sports are powered by great volunteers! We are looking for volunteer coaches, assistant coaches, and team parents ages 18 and older to help create a positive experience for every player.

Little players, big fun! Our beginner Ball Hockey Clinic introduces kids ages 4 to 6 to the game through playful drills, games, and lots of movement. Players will practice stick handling, passing, shooting, and teamwork in a safe, supportive environment at the Crenshaw Family YMCA. No experience needed, just bring your energy and sneakers. Equipment is provided, so all you need to do is show up ready to play!
